About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and well-established school-based nursery in Mitcham. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity starting at the beginning of the next academic year, with interviews taking place as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Planning and delivering engaging, play‑based activities
  • Encouraging children’s social, emotional and physical development
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Carrying out observations and contributing to learning journeys
  • Ensuring the nursery environment is safe, welcoming and inclusive
  • Promoting children’s independence and confidence through high‑quality interactions

The Ideal Applicant Will Have

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) recognised for working in Early Years settings
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally in a nursery or school‑based nursery
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for helping young children achieve their full potential
  • Will not only hold but be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check for the role
