The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience.
- Plan and deliver creative lessons that cater to students of all abilities.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback to maximise achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department to develop an ambitious and engaging curriculum.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and intervention programmes.
- The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Is committed to raising attainment and helping every student reach their full potential.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
