Trainee Teaching Assistant – Role Information

  • Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 & small group support for children with SEN
  • Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout school day
  • Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students
  • Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO
  • Located in one Manchester secondary school for full academic year

Trainee Teaching Assistant – Benefits

  • Paid £60 – £67 per day during term time
  • Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027

Trainee Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children in any capacity
  • Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience graduates desirable
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory
  • Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
