Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Science Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity this September?
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in the Trafford area for a full-time Science Teacher to join their successful department from September.
This is an exciting long-term role with full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking.
The Role
- Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, monitor and mark students’ work in accordance with school policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school staff to support student progress.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
- Confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work.
