We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school from September for the full academic year. This is a full‑time role with a full teaching timetable, delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role
- Teach Humanities to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
- Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
- Monitor student progress and support learners to achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
- Contribute positively to the school’s learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualifying Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent planning, assessment and marking abilities.
- A commitment to raising achievement and inspiring students.
