We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and committed Graduate Sports Coach to join our thriving AP (Alternative Provision) School in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about using sport to engage, motivate, and support young people who may have experienced barriers to education, working with students across KS3 – KS5.

Working alongside teaching and pastoral staff, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality sports and physical activity programmes that promote participation, resilience, confidence, teamwork, and positive behaviour. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging sports, fitness, and enrichment activities for pupils.
  • Use sport as a tool to improve engagement, attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Assist in the organisation of sports fixtures, tournaments, and enrichment events.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging respect, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and participation.
