Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible, rewarding work in local secondary schools? We’re currently recruiting confident and capable Cover Supervisors to work across Tameside, supporting pupils and schools on a day to day, short term, and long term basis.

The Role

  • Delivering pre‐planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a calm, focused learning environment
  • Supporting students with their work where needed
  • Taking accurate registers and providing clear handover notes for teaching staff
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

Requirements

  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be able to provide suitable references, hold a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a formally recognised teaching qualification as a teacher
