We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the South Manchester area from September.
This is a full-time, long-term position, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ creativity and artistic development.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students.
- Mark and assess students’ work in line with school policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where creativity can flourish.
- Contribute to the wider life of the Art department and school community.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for inspiring young people through creativity and the visual arts.
- Commitment to planning, assessment and delivering outstanding teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
