We are recruiting for a School Caretaker in Hammersmith. The role requires an experienced facilities professional to manage the school campus. Hours 10am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, temp – perm.

About the role

  • As a School Caretaker, you’ll supervise work across the school with both external and internal contractors.
  • You will have keyholder responsibilities and will be expected to:
    • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
    • Security work, overseeing the main gate at break and lunch time
    • Dust and wipe down surfaces
    • Clean and sanitise restrooms
    • Painting and decorating
    • Empty trash cans and replace liners
    • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
    • General maintenance work

  • Experience working within a school environment
  • A valid DBS on the DBS update service
