We are currently seeking an outstanding Economics Teacher / Head of Economics to lead and develop an Economics department within a growing online teaching environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and academically strong Economics specialist looking to join an innovative and forward-thinking education provider.

Key Information:

  • Permanent position
  • Salary starting from £75,000
  • Hybrid working model
  • Office based near Chancery Lane for collaboration, meetings and content recording
  • Opportunity to create a professional home recording/green screen setup
  • Teaching sessions primarily scheduled from afternoons into evenings
  • September start available, although earlier starts will also be considered

Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS essential
  • Minimum 5 years of UK teaching experience
  • Strong experience delivering the UK curriculum
  • Russell Group university background required
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level academic profile
  • Confident using online teaching platforms, livestreaming and recording educational content
  • Comfortable being featured across online platforms and social media content where required
  • Previous leadership experience or the confidence to build and lead an Economics department would be highly desirable
  • This position would not suit overseas-trained teachers without substantial UK curriculum experience
