You would be supporting primary aged children in class as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant as well as supporting children on a 1:1 basis with additional needs such as Autism.

As a Trainee Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional learning, behavioural, or emotional support within a supportive school setting.
Responsibilities- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Working with children with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
- Helping pupils build confidence, engagement, independence, and emotional regulation skills
- Supporting classroom learning across literacy, numeracy, and targeted interventions
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom resources
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion throughout the school
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
