Humanities Teacher Required for Secondary School in Leeds (LS14). Are you a qualified Humanities teacher? We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in the North Leeds area, which is seeking a Humanities Teacher for the start of the new academic year in 2026.

About the role

The successful applicant will be joining a lively humanities department and are keen to share best practice. Either a History or Geography specialism is desirable (timetabling can be tweaked to suit specialism). You will be working collaboratively to deliver outstanding lessons which inspire, engage and challenge students. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification (NQTs will be considered for this role)
  • Confident teaching History or Geography at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to a range of abilities
  • A passion for your subject and education in general
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments
  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
