Whether you already have experience or are looking to start a career in education, we’ll provide all the training you need through a fully funded Level 3 CACHE Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Your Role
- Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists and SEND professionals, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Help children and young people aged 2–19 with a range of complex needs, including Autism, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), physical disabilities, communication needs, sensory impairments and complex medical needs.
- Encourage pupils to develop communication, independence, confidence and social skills.
- Support personal care where required, always promoting dignity and independence.
- Assist with sensory activities, communication strategies (including AAC and visual supports) and personalised learning programmes.
- Follow Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to provide tailored support.
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare classroom resources and support engaging lessons and enrichment activities.

Requirements
- Commitment to completing the 11‑month Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C/4 or above (preferred).
- Not currently enrolled on another government‑funded qualification.
- Willingness to support pupils with personal care and complex learning needs where required.
