SEND Primary Teaching Assistant
At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in the Leeds area and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEND Teaching Assistants to offer to these great schools. We have a variety of SEND Teaching Assistant positions across the area to start in September.
The students have the following learning needs:
- MLD
- ASC
- Behaviour issues
About the role
- Earn up to £500 per week
- Full‑time positions available
- Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
- 1:1 support for special needs and lower‑ability pupils
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour
Qualifications
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work
- Relevant teaching qualification
