We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work at an Ofsted rated good primary school in Leeds. This is a full‑time role with the potential of a permanent position. The role will commence in September and ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and has worked with children with additional needs such as Autism. The school has high expectations for its pupils and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for education and improving attainment.
KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant duties can include:
- Providing general classroom support
- Delivering interventions to boost attainment
- Working with key children on a 1 to 1 basis
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working in a primary school
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
- A minimum of a Level 2 relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
