About the role

At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a unique and qualified HLTA to work on a full‑time basis at a successful, forward‑thinking primary school in Leeds. You will become part of an enthusiastic team, working in a nurturing and academically successful environment with outstanding facilities. The school is committed to developing its pupils and staff to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans and teach classes.
  • Report on student progress and support the Class Teacher.
  • Manage a team of teaching assistants and supervise their work, contributing to their on‑the‑job training and continuing professional development.
  • Work confidently with students who have a range of SEND.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.

  • All applicants require the appropriate qualifications, and all teachers require a formally recognised teaching qualification.
  • All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work. Full assistance will be provided.
