About the role
At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a unique and qualified HLTA to work on a full‑time basis at a successful, forward‑thinking primary school in Leeds. You will become part of an enthusiastic team, working in a nurturing and academically successful environment with outstanding facilities. The school is committed to developing its pupils and staff to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and teach classes.
- Report on student progress and support the Class Teacher.
- Manage a team of teaching assistants and supervise their work, contributing to their on‑the‑job training and continuing professional development.
- Work confidently with students who have a range of SEND.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.

- All applicants require the appropriate qualifications, and all teachers require a formally recognised teaching qualification.
- All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work. Full assistance will be provided.
