We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position at a well-established specialist SEN school in Chessington, supporting students aged 9–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role is available to start immediately.

The students have a range of additional needs, including:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD and attention difficulties
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Behavioural and emotional regulation difficulties
- Dyslexia and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- Sensory processing needs and sensory-based learning requirements
Experience supporting sensory regulation strategies, communication interventions, emotional wellbeing, or therapeutic approaches such as play-based learning would be highly advantageous.
About the role:
- Earn up to £500 per week
- Full-time, long-term opportunity
- Supporting students aged 9–19 across KS2–Post-16
- Working within small classes of approximately 8–10 pupils
- Providing 1:1 and small group intervention support
- Supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD, dyslexia, and communication needs
- Assisting students with emotional regulation and challenging behaviour
- Helping to promote independence, life skills, and social development
- Supporting vocational and functional learning opportunities
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, wellbeing staff, and SEN professionals
