This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in leading the operational functions of the school.
About the role
- Leading and managing the school’s operational and administrative functions
- Line managing support staff across administration, premises, catering, and reprographics
- Overseeing site maintenance, facilities management, and contractor performance
- Acting as the school’s Health & Safety Co‑ordinator and Fire Officer
- Managing compliance processes, risk assessments, and emergency planning
- Supporting the effective running of school systems and operational procedures
- Coordinating daily cover arrangements and staff absence processes
- Monitoring outsourced services and ensuring value for money
- Supporting educational visits administration and compliance procedures
- Working closely with senior leaders to improve operational efficiency across the school
- Supporting whole‑school events and key school activities where required

- Previous experience within school business management, operations, or senior administration
- Strong leadership and staff management experience
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Confident managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
