About the role:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help children access learning
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and targeted classroom interventions
- Supporting teachers with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within lessons
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Gaining valuable experience of classroom practice, safeguarding, and school procedures
About you:
- A recent graduate interested in developing a career within education
- Degree in Education, Psychology, Childhood Studies, English, Maths, or a related subject is desirable
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- Patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching is beneficial
- Keen to gain practical classroom experience before pursuing further training, such as teacher training
