We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in the heart of Hastings, working alongside both KS1 & KS2 classes. Experience supporting children with SEND would be highly advantageous, this could be in a professional or personal capacity.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You will help children access learning, develop confidence and build positive relationships that enable them to succeed.

  • Experienced working with children, either in a school or similar setting
  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
  • Confident building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Able to inspire, motivate and encourage children to achieve their best

  • Comfortable supporting a range of learning needs, including SEND
  • A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively

All candidates must hold a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before commencing work. Full assistance will be provided.
