About the role
You will be covering lessons across the school to either relieve classroom teachers for PPA time or for general sickness.
Qualifications
- Degree required; no prior cover supervisor experience required
- Some experience working with young people (e.g., supporting workers, youth workers)
- Personable, able to adapt to challenging behaviour situations
Responsibilities
- Supervising students to complete set tasks
- Managing behaviour
- Assisting pupils with questions
- Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Collecting completed work and handing to Head of Department
