Finance Officer Required for a SEN School in Croydon. Engage Education Services has specialised in recruiting education staff in all roles for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to work at a fantastic SEN school in Croydon. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality finance staff to work with these schools.

About the role

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4pm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of the Financial Statements and the subsequent audit process through to the satisfactory completion of the annual audit.
  • Remain fully appraised of all financial rules and regulations that govern to ensure the School remains compliant with regulation and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all financial controls across the School are in place and work effectively and efficiently.
  • Be the lead for all audit work and liaise with external auditors and staff on all relevant matters.

Qualifications

  • AAT/FCA/ACA qualification.
  • A real passion for working within an education environment.
  • Experience utilising SAGE within a finance role.
  • Knowledge and experience of account procedures.
  • High levels of computer literacy including Excel.
  • Valid enhanced DBS check required.
