An excellent primary school in the Isle of Dogs area of Tower Hamlets is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join its team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain paid classroom experience while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, worth over £7,000.
You will receive high-quality training and mentoring throughout the programme, allowing you to develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in education.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the classroom.
- Deliver one to one and small group interventions.
- Help pupils develop their literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Support children with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Assist teachers in preparing engaging lessons and classroom resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Develop your skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
- What You’ll Receive
- £55–£65 per day while completing your apprenticeship.
- A fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification worth over £7,000.

- A professional attitude and a genuine passion for education.
