An excellent primary school in the Isle of Dogs area of Tower Hamlets is looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join its team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain paid classroom experience while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, worth over £7,000.

You will receive high-quality training and mentoring throughout the programme, allowing you to develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in education.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the classroom.
  • Deliver one to one and small group interventions.
  • Help pupils develop their literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
  • Support children with SEND and additional learning needs.
  • Assist teachers in preparing engaging lessons and classroom resources.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop your skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
  • What You’ll Receive
  • £55–£65 per day while completing your apprenticeship.
  • A fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification worth over £7,000.

  • A professional attitude and a genuine passion for education.
