A superb secondary school in the Tameside area is eager to find a fantastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their superb teaching department in a full-time role for the coming academic year, with the option to join permanent pending review. This is a full-time Design & Technology Teacher position in which the successful candidate will be required to plan and conduct lessons tailored around the school’s broad and balanced DT curriculum. The school are open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on finding a Teacher passionate about student development and the ability to engage.
Design and Technology Teacher – Role Information:
- Planning and conducting high quality KS3 & KS4 Design & Technology lessons
- Utilising schools fantastic curriculum to structure lessons
- Monitoring student progress and feeding back to Head of Department
- Located in the Tameside area
- Paid £140 – £200 per day during term time
- September 2026 start – Monday to Friday role with usual school working hours
Design and Technology Teacher – About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Education
- 2 years’ experience teaching Design & Technology
- Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
- Good or better prior teaching observations
- Available for long‑term or permanent work
