This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across different year groups while providing high-quality cover for class teachers during their PPA time.
The Role
- Provide PPA cover across the primary school
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Maintain continuity of learning during teacher release time
- Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom environments
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs
- Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and school leadership
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Confident teaching across different primary year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Reliable, organised and adaptable
- Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
