School Office Manager & PA to the Head Required for School in Camden.

About the role:

  • This is a full‑time temp to perm position with working hours 08:00 – 16:00 Monday – Friday.
  • Office Manager duties can include:
    • Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to the Headteacher.
    • Manage the Headteacher’s diary, appointments, meetings, and correspondence.
    • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, governors, and external agencies on behalf of the Headteacher.
    • Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, minutes, and confidential documentation.
    • Coordinate and organise school meetings, events, and appointments.
    • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and school documentation in line with data protection requirements.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Oversee the day‑to‑day management of the school office, ensuring efficient administrative operations.
    • Line manage and support administrative staff where appropriate.
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely responses and appropriate action.
    • Assist with the administration of school policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
    • Liaise with governors, local authorities, external agencies, and suppliers as required.
    • Support recruitment administration, including arranging interviews, processing documentation, and maintaining personnel records.
    • Monitor office budgets, process invoices, and assist with financial administration as required.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, PA, or senior administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Have used SIMS (School Information Management System).
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems (desirable).
  • Experience working in an educational setting (desirable).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
