The Role

  • Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5
  • Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
  • Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
  • Encouraging students to develop an understanding of real-world business and economic concepts
  • Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for their specialism
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
