At Engage, we know that specialist schools rely on exceptional support staff to help pupils thrive. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with SEN schools across Bromley and are now looking to expand our team of dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support one of our outstanding specialist provisions. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available to start immediately.
The students have a range of complex learning needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Sensory and physical needs
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
It is highly advantageous if candidates have experience supporting pupils with complex communication needs, sensory‑based learning, emotional regulation, personal care, or working within a therapeutic and highly personalised learning environment.
About the role:
- Earn up to £500 per week
- Full‑time positions available
- Supporting pupils aged 3–19 within a specialist SEN setting
- Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
- 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs and EHCPs
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, SEMH and communication difficulties
- Assisting with sensory circuits, structured routines, and visual communication strategies
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation
- Encouraging independence, life skills, and social development
- Assisting with personal care where required
