At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful and outstanding secondary school in Bradford. We are currently recruiting for a Geography teacher who can start in September 2026.
About the role:
This is a full-time, long-term role teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The school is looking to expand its successful Humanities department and is seeking an experienced Geography teacher who is enthusiastic about sharing best practice and contributing positively to the wider school community. The successful candidate will play an active role within the department and will have the opportunity to lead on aspects of extra-curricular Geography activities, including trips, enrichment programmes, and intervention sessions. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for young people. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
About you:
- Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults and experience mentoring students
- Have experience teaching Geography KS3/KS4
- Have a background in education (does not have to be within a school)
- Have a proven background in raising pupil progress
- Be confident sharing best practice and supporting departmental development
- Have a real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
