An outstanding school in Bradford is currently looking for a creative and engaging English teacher who is committed to improving exam results, student progress, and engagement. The successful candidate will specialise in either English Literature or English Language and will ideally be able to teach up to Key Stage 5. About the role
This is a full-time role in which you will be expected to deliver well-planned lessons alongside strong behaviour management. The school’s vision is to develop well-rounded citizens through a balanced and ambitious curriculum and requires a dynamic teacher who can think on their feet and tailor lessons to the needs of all pupils.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment and improving exam outcomes across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to inspire a love of English both inside and outside the classroom. Experience teaching A-Level English Language or Literature is highly desirable.
This role is due to start in September 2026 on a 1-year contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
