Hours and Location
This is a full-time role based in Leeds, UK. We offer hybrid working and flexible hours to everyone in the team, but this is not a fully remote opportunity. You are required to be in the office at least 3 days a week.

We’re expanding our SEO team and are looking for talented SEOs who love the chance to get involved.
You’ll be responsible for implementing successful SEO strategies for clients. You will work closely with our SEO Managers and the SEO Lead to develop effective strategies and processes that increase the organic visibility for Engage’s clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
General
- Maintain high interpersonal and communication skills, expressing ideas clearly to colleagues and clients in a polite and professional manner.
- Log all your time accurately at the end of each working day, in line with company policy.
- Monitor and maintain your calendar and inbox. Arrive for meetings on time and prepared, giving them your full attention.
- Show interest and desire to continually improve your skills, sharing relevant knowledge with the wider team.
- Use OKRs to set and achieve personal goals.
- Manage your workload and deadlines effectively, communicating any capacity concerns to the SEO Lead.
SEO Specific
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc., mapped to customer intent and journey.
- Perform technical audits and recommend solutions considering potential, importance, and ease of implementation.
- Explain technical audit recommendations to developers for implementation.
- Analyze existing content, providing recommendations for consolidation, expansion, or optimization based on keyword analysis.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities through keyword and competitor research.
- Suggest on-page optimization recommendations based on user intent.
- Review backlink profiles, analyzing the health and relevance of links pointing to client sites.
- Support website builds and migrations through keyword research, site structure proposals, wireframe reviews, and executing site migrations.
- Use GA4 and Looker Studio to report on SEO metrics and tie these back to client KPIs.
- Conduct SEO research to support proposals and pitches, working closely with the new business team.
- Collaborate with development, design, and content teams to ensure timely implementation of changes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends.
