Role Overview
As a Senior Paid Manager, you will be crucial in planning and executing digital strategies across various clients and sectors, leading some of our largest and most complex accounts.
You will be a key leader in both individual projects and ongoing campaigns, contributing to our Paid service offerings.
You will collaborate closely with the Paid team, delegate tasks, and ensure campaigns meet Engage\’s and clients\’ standards for digital attention.
Your responsibilities include leading key accounts, managing daily campaign activities, communicating with clients and internal teams, and guiding the Paid teamβs strategic direction. You will also support the growth of our client base and services.
Responsibilities
Campaign Planning
- Plan and execute campaigns on channels such as Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Display/Programmatic, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Set long-term strategies for client accounts aligned with their goals and produce forecasts to support these objectives.
Account Optimization
- Manage daily Paid campaign activities, including keyword selection, ad copy, bids, bid strategies, placements, and audience targeting.
Strategic Direction
- Develop and oversee innovative and effective Paid campaign strategies.
- Collaborate on new business opportunities, pitches, and onboarding.
- Align multi-channel Paid strategies with overall marketing goals.
- Conduct strategic reviews and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Innovation & Development
- Test new Paid channels and techniques to enhance client performance.
- Assist in setting up and optimizing new channels.
- Improve internal processes for planning, execution, and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and bring innovative ideas.
Client & Team Support
- Act as the main strategic contact for clients, offering insights to maximize campaign success.
- Mentor and develop Paid Managers and Executives.
- Provide training on advanced Paid strategies and tools.
- Coordinate with other marketing teams for integrated strategies.
- Define team priorities and enhance overall performance.
Tracking & Reporting
- Create comprehensive reports on campaign performance and opportunities.
- Utilize GA4 and other platforms for strategy refinement.
- Understand tracking requirements via Google Tag Manager and support configuration.
- Work with technical teams on dataLayer specifications for custom tracking.
- Ensure tracking and reporting align with client KPIs.
Client Retention
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Take a senior role in managing Paid accounts.
- Implement strategies to meet KPIs and objectives.
- Support the team in resolving client issues.
Authority & Decision-Making
Make key decisions regarding client strategies, targets, forecasts, and budgets. Handle issues in collaboration with Account Directors and escalate to the Head of Paid or Performance Marketing Director when necessary. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
