Activities Coordinator - Care Home
Location: HA6
Hours: 25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm
Pay: £12.25 per hour (all breaks paid)
We are currently seeking a cheerful, enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our friendly care home team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with residents and making a positive difference to their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities for residents
- Take residents out on trips and community outings
- Ensure all activities are accurately documented
- Book external entertainment and activity providers when required
- Consult with residents' families regarding activities and preferences
- Promote social interaction, wellbeing, and inclusion
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience running activities in a care home or hospital setting
- Friendly, positive, and approachable personality
- Confident communicating with residents, families, and staff
- Organised with good record-keeping skills
