We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in the Wigan area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire curiosity and a love of Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. You will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning, while contributing to a positive and ambitious school culture.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Engage and motivate students through creative and practical teaching approaches
  • Monitor, assess and support student progress effectively
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
  • Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour
  • Support intervention, revision sessions and enrichment activities

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge in Science, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving outcomes for young people. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, as full support and mentoring will be provided.
