We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school in the Wigan area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire a love of art, design and creativity across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons that encourage students to explore a range of techniques, media and artistic styles. You will be committed to raising attainment, developing creativity, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Develop students’ practical and theoretical understanding of Art and Design
  • Track and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a creative and ambitious curriculum
  • Maintain a well-resourced and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support extra-curricular opportunities such as clubs, exhibitions or projects

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a genuine passion for art education. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
