SEN Learning Support Assistant - Special School in Bexley
Pay: Β£85 - Β£100 per day
Contract: Full time contract (part time supply work also available)
Weβre looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEND School in Bexley that caters for students ages 3 to 19 with Autism, complex needs and SEMH. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
- Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
- Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme
What we're looking for
- Previous experience supporting pupils with severe SEN needs in a school or other settings
- Ability to work with non-verbal children and confidence in using visual communication tools
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
