I am currently working with a lovely school in Watford who are urgently seeking a behavioural specialist to support their secondary-age pupils to start in September.
About the role:
- The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:
- ASC (verbal and non-verbal)
- Learning difficulties
- Complex needs
We welcome applicants with a good understanding of working with students with severe ASC and profound, multiple learning difficulties and are enthusiastic about raising the attainment of their pupils.
You will ideally have experience in supporting children with special educational needs or will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs. Working with Theatre in Education (TIE) or workshops with children are beneficial. By being proactive and taking initiative, you are going to be able to build relationships with students and gain knowledge of a wide variety of needs.
