We are working with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Sale that is seeking a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term role for the full academic year.

The Role

  • Teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire students.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Mark students' work and provide meaningful feedback to support progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and student achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
