Respite Carer Required in Chelmsford
About the role:
This role would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or SEN Carer. You will be supporting SEND children during the school day by going out into the community. You must hold a drivers license and have access to a car. The student is based in the Chelmsford area and does not attend mainstream schooling due to their special educational needs.
Duties can include:
- Working 121 with SEND children
- Providing personal care such as toileting and feeding
- Supporting them with school work
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working with special needs children including those with Autism and physical disabilities
- Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils with SEN
