We are recruiting a Complex Needs Support Worker to join an outstanding specialist school in Pudsey that supports children and young people aged 2–19 with Autism, Communication & Interaction needs, and complex learning needs.

Your Role
/n
As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping pupils access learning while supporting their social, emotional and communication development.
/n
Your responsibilities will include:
/n
/n
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
/n
- Helping pupils develop communication, social and life skills
/n
- Supporting children with Autism and complex additional needs
/n
- Encouraging independence and celebrating individual achievements
/n
- Using positive behaviour strategies to support emotional regulation
/n
- Creating a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
/n
- Supporting sensory regulation throughout the school day
/n
- Assisting with personal care where required
/n
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and families to provide consistent support
/n
