Primary Teaching Assistant – West Drayton
Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £85 – £96 per day (depending on experience)
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Drayton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a dynamic classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
- Provide individual and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and general support
- Encourage and support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A genuine interest in supporting primary-aged pupils
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable:
- Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
