Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant – West Drayton

Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £85 – £96 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences
  • Provide individual and small group support, including for pupils with additional needs
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment

  • Encourage and support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • A genuine interest in supporting primary-aged pupils
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
