We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Stockport that is seeking a talented QTS-qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you can inspire students, promote healthy lifestyles, and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extracurricular sports where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
- Can confidently deliver PE across KS3 and KS4.
- Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about motivating young people to achieve their full potential.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding.
