We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Stockport that is seeking a talented QTS-qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you can inspire students, promote healthy lifestyles, and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extracurricular sports where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
  • Can confidently deliver PE across KS3 and KS4.
  • Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Is passionate about motivating young people to achieve their full potential.
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding.
