Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Primary School Classroom Role

Are you a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse looking to work in a supportive, child-focused environment? At Engage Education, we’re currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Claygate, Surrey, seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their EYFS classroom team.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you’ll play a key role in supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education. You’ll be working in a reception or nursery class setting, helping to provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children aged 3–5.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting learning through play and structured activities
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support children’s development
  • Observing and recording progress in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assisting with classroom routines and preparing learning materials
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children’s social skills

  • Level 3 qualified in childcare or early years education (essential)
  • Experienced in supporting children within an early years or school setting

  • Creative, proactive, and adaptable in a classroom environment
