Engage Education is recruiting a staff member to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship based in one of our SEN Schools. This is a dedicated 11-month apprenticeship programme, providing the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across the primary age range while working towards a recognised Level 3 Classroom Support/Teaching Assistant qualification. We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual who is fully committed to signing the learning agreement and completing the full 11-month programme. Why this role stands out * Higher Pay: £10.00–£13.00 per hour (significantly above standard apprenticeship rates) * FREE Qualification: Earn a fully funded Level 3 Classroom Support/Teaching Assistant qualification * Practical Experience: Gain invaluable hands-on experience working within a supportive primary school * Broad Classroom Experience: Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, developing experience in a range of classroom settings * Career Progression: Clear pathways towards roles such as Teaching Assistant, Level 4 HLTA, SEN Specialist or Primary Teacher * Full Support: Dedicated mentoring from the school and your Engage Education consultant Key Responsibilities Working alongside class teachers and the wider school team, you will: * Provide 1:1 and small-group classroom support to pupils * Assist teachers with delivering engaging learning activities across the curriculum * Support pupils with reading, writing, maths and other classroom-based activities * Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials * Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence * Support pupils with their social, emotional and communication development * Provide additional support for children with SEN and additional needs, where required * Assist pupils with individual learning targets and support plans * Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment * Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and other members of the school team Who We're Looking For Whether you're looking for your first step into education, considering a career change or want to gain practical experience before progressing into teaching, what matters most is your enthusiasm, patience and commitment to helping children learn and develop.
