Mainstream Primary school in Leeds is looking for a 1:1 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work from 08:30am until 15:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, starting September 2026. This is a temporary position with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful 1:1 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting a brand new pupil who has undiagnosed needs but is pre-verbal. The school has a dedicated senior leadership team passionate about supporting and developing their staff team.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting
- Experience with EYFS and the curriculum
- A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
- Ideally hold a relevant level 2 qualification
- Have a patient and nurturing approach in the classroom
