We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and resilient Learning Mentor to join our specialist alternative education setting supporting boys with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role
As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students who may have experienced barriers to education, helping them to re-engage with learning, develop positive relationships and achieve their personal goals.
Your role will include
- Building positive, trusting relationships with students.
- Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring.
- Supporting students to manage their emotions and behaviour positively.
- Encouraging attendance, engagement and participation in learning.
- Promoting confidence, resilience and independence.
- Working closely with teachers, families and external professionals to support individual needs.
- Celebrating progress and recognising every success, no matter how small.
