About the role: At Engage Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting teaching assistants for over a decade, so we know a bit about finding the ideal school for you. We’re currently looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in LS11. This is a long term, full time position with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. Ideally the successful person will be able to start as soon as possible, however we also have vacancies that will commence later in the year.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting a pupil in EYFS on a 1 to 1 basis. The school have a dedicated senior leadership team who are passionate about supporting and developing their staff team.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting
- A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
- Ideally hold a relevant level 2 qualification
- Have a patient and nurturing approach in the classroom
