BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT MANCHESTER Engage Education are recruiting for a passionate and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, autism and challenging behaviour and is confident helping young people regulate their emotions and engage positively with education. The Role As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour support Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils Support children with SEN, SEMH and challenging behaviour Help pupils develop emotional regulation and coping strategies De-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally Follow individual behaviour and support plans Encourage positive engagement with learning Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams Help maintain a safe, structured and supportive environment Essential Requirements Team Teach training is ESSENTIAL for this role.
