We’re currently looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in South Leeds. This is a long term, full time position with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. Ideally the successful person will be able to start as soon as possible, however we also have vacancies that will commence in November. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Key Stage 2 pupil with autism on a 1 to 1 basis. The school have a dedicated senior leadership team who are passionate about supporting and developing their staff team.
The ideal applicant will have:
- A recent psychology degree
- A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
- Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
- Have a patient and nurturing approach in the classroom
