About the Role
Working alongside class teachers and the wider school team, you'll support pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.
Your responsibilities could include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping deliver engaging learning activities
- Supporting children with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum learning
- Running or assisting with targeted interventions
- Supporting pupils with SEN, communication or behavioural needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
- Preparing classroom resources and activities
- Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
